We’re delighted to announce that the winners of our annual Audience Choice Award are Abdallah Al-Khatib’s LITTLE PALESTINE, DIARY OF A SIEGE (Best Feature Film) and Rehab Nazzal’s VIBRATIONS FROM GAZA (Best Short Film).
Though documenting different regions (the Gaza strip and the Yarmouk refugee camp in Damascus), the two films boldly capture the unending violence Palestinians have faced at the hands of occupying forces, each with raw and intimate images. LITTLE PALESTINE, DIARY OF A SIEGE and VIBRATIONS FROM GAZA testify to both the continued need to document the realities of genocide and the obligation we have to screen the fearless works of Palestinian resistors.
