Cinema Politica Smithers

Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre Society is an organization guided by Aboriginal values that provides activities, services and information to all people. We aim to support people on their journey of becoming more self-sufficient and self-reliant. The Friendship Centre also dedicates time and resources to promoting awareness among people. Cultural pride, cultural identity, and confidentiality are the pillars of our organization. Cinema Politica Smithers empowers communities through learning and sharing within the context of social, environmental, economic, and gender issues.

We believe in the power of film and stories in enabling people and cultures. We screen films regularly. Attendance is by donation, and everyone is welcome to our events. Please check our Facebook page and published posters to stay updated on our future events.
