DARC is excited to launch this year’s Cinema Politica screenings with a special presentation.
We will showcase a curated selection of three short films from Cinema Politica’s “Bring it Black: Films by Black Artists in Canada” collection. Each film takes an experimental approach to documentary filmmaking, delving into themes of identity, belonging, and displacement.
The program will begin with a short introduction by DARC’s talented Extended Access member Dereck Bassa.
