If so we invite you and your friends to view FREE documentary films and take part in group discussions at the NDG YMCA teen zone. FREE snacks will be provided. Registration is not necessary, just come by to the NDG YMCA (4335 Hampton corner Monkland). Dates and screenings are listed below.
Agitate is a film and discussion series designed to stir up youth’s social consciousness and motivate positive action. This program empowers young people as critical thinkers, communicators, and citizens through the viewing of video documentaries and problem-solving dialogue. Agitate aims to promote social awareness, active citizenship, and education. Organizers of Agitate include Co-op Collective Vision, Uberculture Collective and the NDG YMCA.
