Ahmed Nour
An award-winning Egyptian filmmaker who has worked in the Egyptian film industry since 2006. He started his career as assistant director in several feature films, TV. Shows and music videos. He wrote, produced, edited and directed several short and medium-length fiction, experimental, and documentary films which participated in film festivals and won prizes. He also wrote, produced and directed several full-length documentary films for Middle Eastern TV. Channels. His films were aired on BBC Arabic, Alghad Alaraby, AlJAZEERA Documentary, and Al-Arabiya channels. He was the co-founder of Moug Films, a Cairo based production house, which had produced many highly acclaimed documentary films between 2012 and 2017. He is known for his 2013 full length hybrid picture (MOUG aka Waves) which participated in more than 45 international film festivals, picked numerous awards, and was reviewed in many film magazines such as: Variety and The Hollywood reporter. Ahmed has a BA in Media studies from Ainshams University, Cairo, and an MFA degree in Film Production from York University, Toronto.
